look at the https://www.gentoo.org/downloads/#sparc, there is only one iso out there, just try it _________________ AMD FX-8300 / Loongson-2f (lemote-yeeloong) |

I try to install from minimal-cdrom, and then stage3, but I dont find portage
and I think having only 640MB of ram the compilations would be very slow |

you can simply execute emerge-webrsync to get a portage

32bit userland may save some memory or use swap if needed, and I think its more depends on CPU speed. _________________ AMD FX-8300 / Loongson-2f (lemote-yeeloong) |

I have built gentoo on sun-blade-100 with 500MHz cpu many years ago, I don't remember the time was taken _________________ AMD FX-8300 / Loongson-2f (lemote-yeeloong) |
