So long story short; I went to visit my parents and I can not find the wifi signal there. When I'm home I can connect to my wifi alright.
I'm using NetworkManager to handle my internet since I've tried to use wpa_supplicant to connect on the wifi to no avail. I never had a problem using the wire, but my wifi was just a headache. So I just installed NetworkManager and magically my wifi worked.
But now I'm at my parents house and my Gentoo installation can not find their wifi signal even though my cellphone is connected to their wifi. Is it a problem with my kernel configs?

Here are my kernel .config

Let me know if you need more info since I'm not sure which info should I post here.

sokrovenno,

I suspect that your parents use WPA on their WiFi. That's been insecure for a long time.
Gentoo now disables WPA by default.

Switch everything to WPA2 or WPA3 if possible. If you must use WPA, you need need to set USE=tkip on the packages that have it on your install.

Did I say the it was broken, depreciated and insecure?
It is.

Indeed, you should avoid using the `tkip` use flag. It is also reported in the wiki. https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Wpa_supplicant#Check_USE_Flags
