I followed some forum posts and got networking up and running within the Waydroid container. I still have one more major issue: com.android.systemui repetitively segfaults. I was using a TkG patched kernel, so I tried it with vanilla 6.9.1 and had the same behavior. This does not happen with gentoo-kernel-bin 6.8.10.

Here is the failure:
Code:
 LineageOS Version: '18.1-20240518-GAPPS-waydroid_x86_64'
Build fingerprint: 'waydroid/lineage_waydroid_x86_64/waydroid_x86_64:11/RQ3A.211001.001/91:userdebug/test-keys'
Revision: '0'
ABI: 'x86_64'

I uploaded my kernel configuration here: https://pastebin.com/WNVJuTvJ

I've tried searching but I can't find any documentation about this, whether from Waydroid or AOSP on what needs to be set for it to function. Does anyone know where I could find it or spot anything obvious in my kernel config?

According to the Arch Wiki, CONFIG_ANDROID_BINDER_DEVICES must be empty if CONFIG_ANDROID_BINDERFS is enabled. I have never tried Waydroid before though, so no idea if that works.
