desktop profile -- why no vaapi?

Hello everyone,

I am running default/linux/amd64/23.0/split-usr/desktop profile.

I have noticed that vaapi is turned off by default.
I think that it makes more sense to turn it on since most desktop users have a GPU.

What do you think about it?
