|

I'm at a total loss here. I have an old script that used the tiff2pdf program, and I don't have that despite having media-libs/tiff installed. I also don't see any obvious USE flags around this?: Code: | equery uses media-libs/tiff
[ Legend : U - final flag setting for installation]
[ : I - package is installed with flag ]
[ Colors : set, unset ]
* Found these USE flags for media-libs/tiff-4.6.0:
U I
- - abi_x86_32 : 32-bit (x86) libraries
+ + cxx : Build support for C++ (bindings, extra libraries, code generation, ...)
+ + jbig : Enable jbig-kit support for tiff, Hylafax, ImageMagick, etc
+ + jpeg : Add JPEG image support
- - lzma : Support for LZMA compression algorithm
- - static-libs : Build static versions of dynamic libraries as well
- - test : Enable dependencies and/or preparations necessary to run tests (usually controlled by FEATURES=test but can be toggled independently)
- - verify-sig : Verify upstream signatures on distfiles
- - webp : Add support for the WebP image format
+ + zlib : Add support for zlib compression
- - zstd : Enable support for ZSTD compression
| What am I missing here?...or does that come from some other package? Thanks!
Tom

See the Upstream bug about removal/deprecation of tools from libtiff. This includes tiff2pdf.
Edit: See also Bug 914232 on Gentoo for status of installation of the tool |
