Hi,

I installed the Chicago95 [GTK2/3] Theme and Icons for Xfce4 but one of the icons is wrong(Sound mixer icon in the taskbar is a paint icon) and a couple others are missing(Minimise and Maximise window buttons but appears it is only for Chromium) and was hoping someone might advise me how to fix this please if possible, please see below image for reference:

Hi,

Which version of the theme package do you use ?
Maybe you could first try to download/install the latest version from the master branch :

I am using the latest version, its not a huge deal ill have a deeper investigation once I've dealt with setting up Neovim and I'm back on top of my work  I thought it wouldn't harm asking because someone might of fix this sort of thing before but im not losing sleep over it.

Since it is not installed by portage you need to do it manually.

Find which icon and name is used and check if the file is there. By replacing or adding the icon, you could solve this.

I installed (manually) the latest version from the master branch. After enabling it everything is fine here.
How did you install it ? Maybe a cache problem ? You should try with another user on your system.
