After moving my stuff from Debian to Gentoo just noticed that thumbnailer do not work with php..

What might be the reason here?

What is the output of emerge --verbose --info media-video/ffmpeg media-video/ffmpegthumbnailer? Can you obtain a backtrace of the crash, with debug symbols?

I have rebuild gcc and many other packages without native setting, and this seems to start working now.

I have I7 8700
