Yesterday I updated dhcpcd to version 10.0.5. When I rebooted my laptop, the internet wasn't working. After searching and trying several things, I ran `dhcpcd wlp4s0`. After that, I finally was able to access the internet. After running `rc-service dhcpcd status` it outputed that it was crashed. Starting it via `rc-service` also seemed not to work well (I don't remember the output well, but I think that was some problem related to the PID binding). It worth mentioning that the only thing I did that led to the connection issues was to update packages via world update. I am downgrading the dhcpcd package to version 10.0.4 to see if it works normally as before.

There are some upstream commits that are looking to solve issues to changes without the privsep USE enabled on dhcpcd-10.0.5. This case may be related |
