Currently on a fresh new install so i am typing from my phone.
When i run ifconfig -a it seems that only the loopback device and Ethernet controller are found (lo and eth0). My Network Controller is an Intel with the iwlwifi driver already on it, yet the interface (wlan0) doesn't seem to appear anywhere. Any fix? |

shoebill_j,
Welcome to Gentoo.
You need a lot more than iwlwifi to make wifi work.
Try the wiki
iwlwifi requires firmware before the interface will exist.
Then you need some tools to bring up the radio link.
Once the radio link is established, dhcpcd can set up the interface in the normal way. _________________ Regards,
