Wazzup gang

I'm trying to install Gentoo on an HP ProLiant DL380 G7 server. I followed the handbook (As the dl380 g7 does not support EFI I followed the legacy instructions), but after the installation was done, and I restarted the Server, it was unable to boot. When I boot from HDD, the screen remains black, and after some time it reboots. The LiveUSB boots just fine. I'm assuming it cannot find grub. Any ideas on what could be the problem?
