Can't connect to internet with Networkmanager

Hi,

Just got a booted Gentoo system, and wanted to get an internet connection with Networkmanager which is how I usually do it, only to be greeted with this message:

Code: Select all

Error: could not create NMClient object: Could not connect: No such file or directory

This happens with every command other than

Code: Select all

nmcli --help

Not sure what other information there is to provide, but let me know.

Did you enable the NetworkManager service with either rc-update (OpenRC) or systemctl (systemd)?

Whoops, I forgot that I had to do that... It fixed it, thanks for your help
