I seek advice for a wearable monitor (think something like VIVE Pro 2), but I only need a dumb monitor that will show my desktop and what is happening within it (I may be playing a movie for example). So a stupid monitor that provides that basic functionality is all I need. If additional capability were to be provided, that is OK as I could simply not avail myself of the additional bells and whistles.
My desktop monitor is a Philips 328E which is trivial to set up... I plug in a cable and like magic everything works. I hope for a wearable monitor that is similarly trivial to get working. I would like to have high resolution; 3840x2160 resolution per eye would be ideal. Does the universe offer such a thing? So far I can find nothing that works with linux. |

what about installing a virtual display and use something like VNC to use it on your tablet / smartphone / ..., any opinions about that? _________________ The power of Gentoo optimization (not overclocked): |
