I had net-misc/nextcloud-client app working without issues last week, but after a world update I've seen that its not able to save the session/token. If I grant access to the application and I either restart or close and open again the application, it asks again for access.

I've checked Nextcloud's page and there was an old post suggesting to recreate the keychain, basically remove the actual one and restart, so it gets created again when nextcloud tries to validate itself, but that doesn't seem to work.

On the other devices I have connected to the same server I don't have the issue, so I believe the issue is within the PC that is having the problem.

Most of the solutions I saw talked about gnome-keyring, but checking the bug list it doesn't seem that nextcloud client uses it, since its dependant on qtkeychain.

Does anyone know what should I look for in order to be able to troubleshoot this issue?

Hey, I had exactly the same issue. I can say this is 100% gnome-keychain. What solved it for me was deleting my keychain, thus creating a new keychain.

Code:
cd ~/.local/share/keyrings/
mv login.keyring login.keyring.bak

Then kill and restart the client and login one last time.

Hope that helps.
