Hello. I am running alsa, pipewire on pulseaudio.
The problem is that the microphone (headset mic) is not working, I am sure that this is not hardware issue becuase I am dualbooting windows, the safe boot is disabled.
I am sure that my user is to -aG group.

pactl info results
Code:

[satelaGentoo@pufikas ~]$ pactl info
Server String: /run/user/1000/pulse/native
Library Protocol Version: 35
Server Protocol Version: 35
Is Local: yes
Client Index: 88
Tile Size: 65472
User Name: pufikas
Host Name: satelaGentoo
Server Name: pulseaudio
Server Version: 16.1
Default Sample Specification: s16le 2ch 44100Hz
Default Channel Map: front-left,front-right
Default Sink: alsa_output.pci-0000_00_1f.3.analog-stereo
Default Source: alsa_output.pci-0000_00_1f.3.analog-stereo.monitor
Cookie: 2eec:0650

My .asoundrc conf
Code:

defaults.pcm.!card Intel
defaults.pcm.!device 0
defaults.ctl.!card Intel

My /etc/modprobe.d/myalsa.conf
Code:

options snd-hda-intel model=alc662-headset,alc662-headset-multi,dell-headset-multi
options snd-hda-intel position_fix=1
options snd-usb-index=-2

Are my configs messed up? Or am I missing something?
Audio works great, I just can't get my mic work at the same time with audio, It justs get muted when IT works like a switch audio off mic on and so on I want them to work at the same time.

If you are using any sound server it is not a good idea to have either /etc/asound.conf or ~/.asoundrc

Please move these out and check again.

Hope you moved .asoundrc only, the module conf file may be relevant.

You need to find out if alsa can use the mic, and if so if pulseaudio detects the device correctly and you selected correct profile for the card with mic. If in doubt pastebin your pa-info output at the time you are trying to reproduce the issue.

what does alsamixer show ?

after starting alsamixer - press F4 and it'll show only capture options.

just go through some options in alsamixer - i hope you'll find the magic switch.

Thanks for responding, I tried going through alsamixer once again couldn't find anything that works.
I just found out that my mic captures my output not input, I don't really know much about audio configurations since I am coming from windows I had no such issue since it was automaticly configured.

I hope I can provide any information that is needed.
I am pretty sure I am running with jack cable? It merges audio and mic into one.

Removing .asoundrc changed some options to change in alsamixer, but didn't helped me.

Do I need to configure input sink of some sort?

It looks like your current profile does not have a mic (hence input source is .monitor of your output which explains why it mirrors your output.)

Try navigating in pavucontrol to Configuration tab and selecting any duplex profile in the dropdown box.

I went on pavucontrol made sure my profile is duplex tried changing my input source to other options 3 out 4 return output noise and one of them called microphone muted my audio, but it didn't seemed to capture my output audio(?) I'm not sure, but just guessing by looking at the sound graph in pavucontrol.
