Hi all!
I'm stuck with strange problem. I've got the following error, Installing gitlab-shell from gitlab overlay[/code]:

fatal: not a git repository: '/var/cache/distfiles/git3-src/gitlab-org_gitlab-shell.git' |
Looks like the repo has not being cloned before fetching, and also I can't see anything about cloning inside logs.

Thank you, but if someone knows why git-r3 can behave like this, as I understand if somehow repo isn't cloned, it shouldn't do fetch.
Anyway, thank you for link, I will try to ask there.

| This looks like a bug in the ebuild you are using, since git-r3 works for many things. However, as this ebuild is out of tree and you did not link to it, we cannot readily review the ebuild to see if it is using the eclass correctly. When you need help with an out-of-tree package, you should provide the information we would need to recreate the issue locally. At a minimum, this should include a link to the text of the ebuild, with sufficient detail that we can pick the same commit of the ebuild that you did. |

gitlab-shell-14.15.0.ebuild there is the ebuild. Actually after I changed git url to github mirror in ebuild file I've fetched gitlab-shell successfully. Don't know, why original URL isn't working, since I'm able to fetch it manually.
