Hallo,
ich will mir Blender mal ansehen, Installation war problemlos, aber der Start nicht:

Mit der Fehlermeldung kann ich nichts anfangen... RTKit ist bei mir nicht installiert, kann das eine fehlende Abhängigkeit von Blender sein? Falls ja, was sollte ich dann installieren?

Na ja, Du könntest sys-auth/rtkit installieren und rtkit starten, bevor Du Blender aufrufst.
Hilfreich wäre auch, wenn Du die Ausgabe von "emerge --info" postest, damit wir sehen können, wie Dein System konfiguriert ist... |

das problem ist hier nur bedingt direkt blender sondern wie blender openal konfiguriert (siehe ALSOFT in der Fehlermeldung)
blender konfiguriert openal für die verwendung von realtime priority via rtkit.
Mit blender kann man auch audio "bearbeiten/nutzen" (da mit blender auch filme erstellt werden können). Wenn du diesen support überhaupt nicht brauchst, kannst du mal versuchen blender mit dem parameter "-noaudio" zu starten.
Dann sollte blender starten und dann kannst du in den settings den audio support deaktivieren oder auf was anderes stellen als openal.
Dann brauchst du blender nicht immer mit -noaudio zu starten

Es könnte ein Bug sein - oder es könnte sein, dass die Entwickler ein anderes Profil verwenden, bei dem es ohne explizite Abhängigkeit zu RTKit im ebuild funktioniert.
Wechsle doch mal auf "default/linux/amd64/17.1/desktop/systemd (stable)" und führe "emerge --update --deep --changed-use -av @world" aus - um zu sehen, welche Pakete dann neu installiert werden. |

die rtkit abhängigkeit könnte relativ neu sein in blender, und eventuell nutzen die Enwickler des ebuilds eine andere audio Einstellung (wo openal nicht genutzt wird).
in openal wurde erst mit 1.21.1 der optionale support für rtkit hinzugefügt.
Aktuell hat auch das openal ebuild kein support für rtkit. Sehr wahrscheinlich, dass das übersehen wurde.
Daher bitte prüf mal ob das problem weiterhin besteht wenn du in den settings ein anderes audio backend auswählst (dafür musst du blender mal mit -noaudio starten)

Ich habe zwei Tests durchgeführt.
Zuerst habe ich Blender 3.4.1 ohne USE-Flag "openal" installiert. Es läuft einwandfrei, aber beim Start erscheint auf der Konsole folgende Meldung:

Dann habe ich Blender mit USE-Flag "openal" installiert. Es läuft auch einwandfrei, aber es kommen die Meldungen:

Die Meldungen scheinen also harmlos zu sein. Zumindest auf meiner Maschine. |

Warum ich das Profil damals gewählt habe, weiss ich nicht mehr. Bei der Umstellung wird hauptsächlich dbus und abix86=32 nachgerüstet... Ich ändere das jetzt mal. Scheint mir die bessere Wahl zu sein.
@firefly:
blender-3.4 -noaudio bringt keinen Fehler - leider auch sonst nichts. Da kommt im Terminal einfach nix mehr....
Vielleicht klappt das nach Änderung des Profils dann besser, mal abwarten. |

Kann es eventuell sein, dass du aufgrund des nicht desktop profils blender ohne aktiven useflag X oder wayland gebaut hast?
Denn dadurch wird blender ohne UI gebaut. Du hast also aktuell ein headless version von blender installiert 
In älteren blender versionen des ebuilds gab es dafür das useflag headless. Wenn es inaktiv war wurde hard X11 libs als abhängigkeit eingezogen.
Mit 3.4 wurde das headless useflag entfernt weil mit 3.4 blender support für X11 und wayland hat und man nun headless indirekt bekommt wenn man die useflags X und wayland für blender deaktiviert.

Wie ich oben schon schrieb, erscheint die RTKit Fehlermeldung auch bei mir. Blender läuft trotzdem.
Es ist gut möglich, dass die RTKit Meldung auch bei @uhai harmlos ist und nichts mit dem eigentlichen Problem zu tun hat.
@firefly ist m.E. auf dem richtigen Weg. Es wird so etwas oder etwas ähnliches sein. |

RTKit war wohl nicht das Problem....
Aktuell habe ich das Profil geändert (Danke Mike155) und jetzt blender erneut gestartet - ohne sichtbaren Erfolg:

Gesetzt sind beide USE - wayland und X...? xterm habe ich nicht installiert, ich habe fluxbox und eine QT-Konsole.
ich nehme wayland mal raus und schaue, was passiert....-> ganz dumme Idee, das steht im Profil. also wieder rein, Fehler bleibt bei gtk+...??

Beim rebuild mit --newuse bekomme ich den Abbruch bei x11-libs/gtk+. Das ist doch für grafische Oberflächen -> möglicherweise bekomme ich deshalb keine GUI von blender? Aber selbe Frage: Wieso zieht portage die Abhängigkeit zu atk nicht automatisch? Ist da was "verkonfiguriert" bei den USE?

teste es bitte auch mal mit dem gtk+ Paket aus den ::gentoo repo
Und zu dem @world Update, ja, portage scheint (warum auch immer) die neue clang Version zu ignorieren :-/
