Issue with firefox 109.0

Hi, recently I encounter an issue with firefox. It's only with one website actually: https://learning.oreilly.com/
It's a website to learn and be ready for course or examen for IT jobs.

Recently, now when I play a video, after some seconds, the video stop and show en error message (just a code, nothing else)

Do you know if recently firefox have some issues to play videos ?

I tried with an another browser (vivaldi), and I don't have this problem.

I had that happen to me, but only with alsa (aka -pulseaudio) use flag, not with pulseaudio. Do you have pulseaudio or pipewire in use?

Try toggling media.ffvpx.enabled flag and the related flags one by one if it fixes it for you.

Do you think will be better for me to switch to pipewire?
I'm not against to be honest, I found this one really interesting, it's just I'm afraid I can have some compatibility issue with this backend.

using FF from pg_overlay - no problems here.

i can't try out the site, because it's for members only and even if it's for free i won't register

did you change some options via about:config?

what's the output if starting FF via terminal and playing a video?

and have you tried with a clean FF (<<< make a backup of the old FF folders before).

or try with a second clean user profile.

I never change my about:config actually

To be honest, I don't have a lot of output from firefox in a command line.

I have only one error at the beginning. But when I open the website (or something else), I don't have any error:

But is it relevant to use vaapi with the proprietary nvidia drivers ? Because if I enable the global use flag vaapi, when emerge update mesa, I have this message:

No worries, it's always tricky with NVIDIA

I think the problem is somewhere else to be honest.
I added the hwaccel support, but it doesn't fix the problem.

Maybe if I open the web debugger, I can have some relevant informations about the problem ?

I enabled hwaccel and geckodriver as well, but doesn't fix the problem

I finally find the problem, it was the duckduckgo extension !
