I followed this guide.

'lpinfo -v' returns:

Code:
# lpinfo -v
network beh
file cups-brf:/
network https
network ipps
network socket
network lpd
network ipp
network http
network lpd://BRNB422004195D9/BINARY_P1

So I add the printer with the command:
Code:
 lpadmin -p brother-everywhere -E -v ipp://192.168.1.49/ipp -m everywhere

lpstat -t returns:
Code:
 # lpstat -t
scheduler is running
system default destination: brother-everywhere
device for brother-everywhere: ipp://192.168.1.49/ipp
device for Brother_MFC-L2710DN_series: lpd://BRNB422004195D9/BINARY_P1
brother-everywhere accepting requests since Tue 17 Jan 2023 09:12:39 AM CET
Brother_MFC-L2710DN_series accepting requests since Tue 17 Jan 2023 08:59:10 AM CET
printer brother-everywhere now printing brother-everywhere-101.  enabled since Tue 17 Jan 2023 09:12:39 AM CET
   Connecting to printer.
printer Brother_MFC-L2710DN_series is idle.  enabled since Tue 17 Jan 2023 08:59:10 AM CET
brother-everywhere-101  root              1024   Tue 17 Jan 2023 09:12:39 AM CET

printing a test page from the CUPS web interface returns "printer is unavailable at this time."

Adding the printer via CUPS doesn't show the correct driver (instead offers MFC-L2710DW), and when I try to print with that I get "unable to locate BRNB422004195D9"

How do I troubleshoot this? I was able to print documents with this same interface a month ago, but I have no idea what's changed in between.

Thanks for the help,

EE
