|
|
When inserting a USB stick, formatted by windows-7, and trying to access it, nautilus says...
```
Unable to access "9.0 GB Volume"
Error mounting /dev/sda1 at /run/media/xxx/yyy: Filesystem type
ntfs3,ntfs not configured in the kernel.
```
I have compiled ONLY the ntfs3 driver - not the older one.
lsmod shows ntfs3.ko is loaded.
If i mount the volume on the command-line, however.. eveyrthing works as expected.
```
sudo mount -t ntfs3 /dev/sda1 /mnt/my_stick
```
What have I done wrong?
Is this a bug? or have I done somthing silly? does nautilus require the old kernle driver?

Welcome to gentoo forum.
It's a sys-fs/udisks, for now you should use sys-fs/ntfs3g for mount ntfs partition on nautilus. _________________ Questions are guaranteed in life; Answers aren't. |
