|
|
When setting this system up for audio, i only installed pipewire and nothing else for audio. I followed the basic gentoo wiki instructions and added myself to the audio group. It worked fine for a week or so, until i noticed yesterday that i had no audio and Discord couldnt see neither my headphones nor my microphone. I used to start pipewire with gentoo-pipewire-launcher running in a dwm autostart.sh and it worked. Now when i manually start with getoo-pipewire-launcher it throws out this output:

I do have the required kernel settings turned on aswell. I can read that a libwireplumber-module-logind is missing, but i couldnt find any information on how to install it. I also reemerged pipewire, to no avail. I did a world upgrade yesterday to 5.19.0 too, but this didnt either solve the issue, nor did it start the issue, it was there before.
How can i fix this?
If more logs are required, i can provide them. |

'libwireplumber-module-logind.so' is provided by the 'wireplumber' package, which also provides the 'wireplumber' binary required by the 'gentoo-pipewire-launcher' script. So it sounds like the file 'libwireplumber-module-logind.so' has been incorrectly deleted for some reason; try re-installing 'wireplumber'. |
