Hi,
I'm trying to find a way to install the closed source driver for my RX570 amd gpu. I already have amdgpu driver and installed amdgpu-pro driver (but somehow still it does not get detected in lolminer) so I'm trying to install net-p2p/ethminer but I keep getting errors, I'm trying to achieve either compile and install ethminer or find a way to let other ETC miners detect my gpu (like lolminer)

... but anyway. Looking at the repository where it came from...You should find a up-to-date source for your ethminer first.

Why the closed source?
I'd try with: x11-drivers/xf86-video-amdgpu and dev-libs/amdgpu-pro-opencl. After that check that your GPU is selected (with eselect) as an OpenCL card. While unoffical from AMD's point on view, that's how I've managed to get OpenCL working before.
You could also go the ROCm way... I haven't tested it yet.

I think this program is dead upstream, the repository has been archived by the owner.

Sorry for late reply, I was reinstalling gentoo. I know it's dead but I thought other compiled miners won't work ? so this is why I was trying to build this miner specifically

Due to license restrictions you have to download it manually and move it to /var/cache/distfiles/.

installation worked and lolminer seems working fine, I thought I HAVE to compile it so it can detect my drivers (like with KDE and pulseaudio...,) still learning gentoo

Yes. It seems so!
I just tried it too.
Maybe I need to test out some opencl fractal rendering then to see if it really works.
