|
|
Dear all,
it seems that with the recent upgrade to adwaita-icon-theme-42.0, the xterm icon (/usr/share/icons/Adwaita/32x32/legacy/utilities-terminal.png) is missing.
That said, it seems that my recent (about weekly, mostly amd64 stable) emerge round brought along some slight changes to my desktop appearance in general, e.g. different icons in emacs as well. I have to admit that I don't pay much attention to all things desktop; I'm running icewm since long and try to keep it's look&feel as constant (~vintage, gtk2'ish) as possible.
Thanks for any hints where to investigate further, e.g. where to find the missing xterm icon (other than backup).
Cheers, Ralph

That happened on my machine, too.
One of the updates switched the default symbol set from Oxygen to Adwaita. I switched the default symbol set back to Oxygen - and the desktop looks as before! |

That's a bug. It's fixed in x11-themes/adwaita-icon-theme-42.0_p2.
Upgrade to x11-themes/adwaita-icon-theme-42.0_p2. |

Thanks mike155, todays update fixed it.
Not sure about changing symbol set(s), could you tell me how you did that? (I may remember lxappearance)
