Using kde and network manager
When I open the kde wifi widget I don't see a few wifi names
One of them being my home router.
But when I use the wpa_supplicant GUI to scan
I see my home wifi name there.
And I could connect to it in previous distros on the same laptop.
How can I solve this?

Solve : add
Code:
 tkip
to use and recompile wpa_supplicant

Skeyvin,

tkip is no longer secure.
If that matters to you, fix your router. It may be as simple as selecting WPA2 from a drop down.
