So I tried a lot of times to compile my manual kernel and use it but it just doesnt work. EIther it gets stuck at loading linux kernel or stuck at loading initramfs or shows initramfs not found. I think the problem might be with my config bc the binary kernel is working. So can anyone verify the config file?

Hello MagPhi

I'm not sure why but I can not view your link.

Can you tell us more about what is happening?
Do you have some logs or even screenshots?

What hardware do you have?

To see or download, just remove the "[/profile]" from the end of the link.

Code:
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_INITRD=n

That's the only thing that leapt out at me.

MagPhi,

Welcome to Gentoo.

Google wants me to sign in. That's not going to happen. Please make use of a public pastebin.
Try wgetpaste to make life easy.

To check your kernel we need the following.

The output of
Code:
lspci -nnk
so we can see your PCI/PCIe hardware.
The output of
Code:
lsusb
so we can see the USB devices you like to use.
The content of /etc/fstab, so we can see the filesystems you use.
Your kernel .config on a public pastebin site.

One other thing, do you want your kernel to work without an initrd or not?
That's not possible with some setups, e.g. with root inside LUKS, raid, or a Logical Volume.
