In Gentoo we have made KDE Plasma 5.24 beta available in Gentoo repository for that purpose, but it is *masked* to make sure no one gets it inadvertently.

All users willing to test:
Grab the file from https://raw.githubusercontent.com/gentoo/kde/master/Documentation/package.unmask/kde-plasma-5.24 and place its content in your /etc/portage/package.unmask file or folder.

Stable users willing to test:
Grab the package.accept_keywords files:
