I have a block issue which I can't seem to resolve at the moment, for python-exec 2.4.6 -> 2.4.8

Is anyone able to assist with a suggestion?

Code:

Calculating dependencies... done!
[ebuild  N     ] dev-lang/python-exec-conf-2.4.6:2::gentoo  PYTHON_TARGETS="python3_9 (-pypy3) -python3_8 -python3_10" 0 KiB
[ebuild     U  ] dev-lang/python-exec-2.4.8:2::gentoo [2.4.6-r2:2::gentoo] USE="(native-symlinks%*) -test%" PYTHON_TARGETS="(pypy3) (python3_8) (python3_9) (python3_10%*) (-python2_7%*) (-python3_7%*)" 81 KiB
[blocks B      ] <dev-lang/python-exec-2.4.6-r4 ("<dev-lang/python-exec-2.4.6-r4" is soft blocking dev-lang/python-exec-conf-2.4.6)

Total: 2 packages (1 upgrade, 1 new), Size of downloads: 81 KiB
Conflict: 1 block (1 unsatisfied)

!!! Multiple package instances within a single package slot have been pulled
!!! into the dependency graph, resulting in a slot conflict:

dev-lang/python-exec:2

  (dev-lang/python-exec-2.4.8:2/2::gentoo, ebuild scheduled for merge) USE="(native-symlinks) -test" ABI_X86="(64)" PYTHON_TARGETS="(pypy3) (python3_10) (python3_8) (python3_9)" pulled in by
    dev-lang/python-exec (Argument)

  (dev-lang/python-exec-2.4.6-r2:2/2::gentoo, installed) USE="" ABI_X86="(64)" PYTHON_TARGETS="(pypy3) python2_7 python3_7 (python3_8) (python3_9)" pulled in by

Hi
this
Code:

dev-python/mysql-python

does not exist.
plz delete it.
There is a
Code:

dev-python/mysql-connector-python
and a
pymysql

Maybe
Code:

emerge --sync
emerge -cav dev-python/mysql-python
emerge -a --depclean
emerge -av dev-python/mysql-connector-python
emerge -uDNav @world
emerge -a --depclean

PYTHON_TARGETS="python2_7
?
I am not sure it exists anymore.

dev-python/mysql-python was removed in dev-python/mysql-python: Remove last-rited pkg for [Tracker] dev-python/mysql-python consumers (for removal of dead package). That bug also gives a proposed replacement package.

Yep, although I'd be interested in seeing world update output please (emerge -p -uvDU @world).

...
[blocks B      ] <dev-lang/python-exec-2.4.6-r4 ("<dev-lang/python-exec-2.4.6-r4" is soft blocking dev-lang/python-exec-conf-2.4.6)

    dev-lang/python-exec[python_targets_python3_10(-)] required by (dev-lang/python-3.10.0_p1-r1:3.10/3.10::gentoo, ebuild scheduled for merge) USE="bluetooth gdbm ncurses readline sqlite ssl xml -build -examples -hardened -lto -pgo -test -tk -verify-sig -wininst" ABI_X86="(64)"

  (dev-lang/python-exec-2.4.6-r2:2/2::gentoo, installed) USE="" ABI_X86="(64)" PYTHON_TARGETS="(pypy3) python2_7 python3_7 (python3_8) (python3_9)" pulled in by
    >=dev-lang/python-exec-2:2/2=[python_targets_python2_7(-),-python_single_target_python2_7(-)] required by (dev-python/pygobject-2.28.6-r55:2/2::gentoo, installed) USE="-examples -libffi -test" ABI_X86="(64)" PYTHON_TARGETS="python2_7"

Removed "dev-python/pygobject-2.28.6-r55" and things happy again. Thanks Hu!
