Hi,
I can't finish my today update because a strange issue in preserved rebuild.... it says qtwebkit5 isn't findable, althougth installed...

Code:

# emerge @preserved-rebuild

 * IMPORTANT: 5 config files in '/etc/portage' need updating.
 * See the CONFIGURATION FILES and CONFIGURATION FILES UPDATE TOOLS
 * sections of the emerge man page to learn how to update config files.
Calculating dependencies... done!

emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "dev-qt/qtwebkit:5".
(dependency required by "@preserved-rebuild" [argument])

# equery list qtwebkit
 * Searching for qtwebkit ...
[I--] [??] dev-qt/qtwebkit-5.212.0_pre20200309-r1:5/5.212

# equery list qtwebkit:5
 * Searching for qtwebkit:5 ...
[I--] [??] dev-qt/qtwebkit-5.212.0_pre20200309-r1:5/5.212

any idea?
thanks and regards

qtwebkit got replaced by qtwebengine.

What you need to do is find that package that needs qtwebkit (try emerge --depclean --verbose qtwebkit) and upgrade any packages found to use qtwebengine instead.

Incidentally if it deletes qtwebkit, problem solved, I guess, unless you had an out-of-portage package that needed it.

It is always a good idea to run "emerge --ask --depclean" before trying any @preserved-rebuild.

Often it can save lots of time and headaches

Just make sure you depclean before you emerge --sync again :D

Do it as soon as possible after you finish a @world update...
