hedmo,

Can you cross emerge it?

It should be pulled in by anything and everything that wants to use it.
Using a binary package works too.

i know but after the installation it cannot been seen by cmake nor pkgconfig...and cross emerge give me this :

Code:

ERROR:
Cannot use target g-ir-compiler as a generator because it is built for the
host machine and no exe wrapper is defined or needs_exe_wrapper is
true. You might want to set `native: true` instead to build it for
the build machine.

NeddySeagoon

i did some research and found this : https://github.com/midori-browser/core/issues/303

now i can :

Code:

USE=-introspection armv7a-hardfloat-linux-gnueabi-emerge --jobs=1 --newuse -av1O webkit-gtk

to bypass introspection useflag and after that i can do this on the the arm board :
Code:

emerge -O midori

next is to make a new ebuild in my local overlay that removes the hard dep... from midori and maybe file a bug :).
but i am not done yet and like to get this qemu a try to ....

hedmo,

You may want to join in #gentoo-arm ot freenode, if you do IRC.
You need to register your nick to be able to speak there.

After nine years of compiling on My sdcard It finally have Up (Read only) so i pulled
The build out and backed it Up in My x86_64 box . Is it possible to chroot in to it and use the backup to update it and build a binhost from it for the real arm device on the x86_64 box?
