I'm running gnome with systemd on a fresh install, and I think I may have made a mistake. If I look at screen 1 (Ctrl-alt-f1), I see GDM. If I do the same on screen 2 (CTRL-Alt-F2) then I see a different instance of GDM. If I switch to 3 (CTRL-ALT-F3) I have a text login. Do I have two instances of GDM running? How do I diagnose and fix this? Top didn't help me understand whats going on.
Thanks! _________________ ---

Can't post- it was all graphical, and just showed the Gnome sign in screen on two terminals. I ran Code: | systemctl disable gdm | , then I rebooted, ran Code: | systemctl enable gdm | and rebooted again. Only shows GDM on one terminal now, so it is resolved. _________________ ---

Interesting, but I don't use Gnome, or GDM now for MANY years. I suppose I can't help further. You don't share much information about your system making it hard to be of assistance. _________________ Andy Figueroa
