Ok, it's been 13 hours and 23 minutes later and I have a stable, fast, customized installation of Gentoo from stage 1. Whew... i also installed a few progies... like kmerlin, xine, etc.... got my sbLive! and CDRW working too. anyhow... its the first "scratch" install of linux i've ever done... i like... in fact I'm going to put it on my server....

But, if you have any success stories, anything that was wierd during the install... post it!
