trying to build ungoogled chromium fails[closed]

You should post also build.log.

Is /var/tmp on tmpfs?
If yes maybe build it on non-tmpfs directory via make.conf
Chromium apparently needs 100G of free space.
Do you have them?
You have -j12.
Each thread might end up needing 1.5-2 Gigs.
Maybe make them less?

i would like to post the build log, but it has so far crashed any paste service i've tried to use.

if someone needs an excerpt or wants me to run a search through the file, i'm happy to, but the file is 14M+ characters, so pasting isn't an option.

/var/tmp is not a tmpfs

also, even if each thread needs 2G of ram, this system has 32G, so i doubt that is the issue.

and yes, there is about 400G of space present on that disk

it's the same frome pf4public, but i just use the ungoogled ebuild on my local overlay.

the stable one from pf4public is www-client/ungoogled-chromium-92.0.4515.159-r1

sync the overlay with emaint sync -r pf4public and try again
