hi
ATM i have ubuntu running on my tf100ha because it has a nice option when installing side by side of windows in case something goes wrong and the oem
option . now i like to install gentoo and take all the good stuff from ubuntu . is there a good (hacky) way to do this?

No hacky way, but you can install Gentoo along side Ubuntu and after you have emerged the comparable desktop and applications copy over your /home from the Ubunu installation and with some luck maybe you get a similar looking desktop environment. _________________ Andy Figueroa

thanks for the reply. ATM i made it the (hacky way). i installed ubuntu on the internal mmcblkop5 because this tablet only boots from internal or usb. after that i removed all but /boot , /etc/fstab , /lib/firmware , /lib/modules and /usr/src.
i had a gentoo install on a microsd card but as i said it does not boot from a sdcard so i copied it all to mmcblk0p5 and now i can boot my gentoo install .
hacky way!!!
