strange nbench results

Hi folks! Im getting very strange results with the Linux port by Uwe Mayer from BYTEmark* Native Mode Benchmark ver. 2, since I switched to gentoo linux. The whole benchmark takes only 30 secs:

it tooked *much* longer before. And it spots very poor results:
MEMORY INDEX : 0.468
INTEGER INDEX : 0.454
FLOATING-POINT INDEX: 0.749

my cpu is athlon 750 so this results are *way* too poor. my gcc is version 2.95.3 20010315 (release)

Any clues?
