Pietrog,
Yes, it should go on to detect your input devices.
Code: | [ 309.074] (**) | |-->Device "framebuffer for testing" | confirms its the right log.
Tell us how you made your kernel and put the entire .config onto a pastebin site please.
Post the link, not the content of the pastebin. The kernel .config will not fit into a post. _________________ Regards,

Pietrog,
Your kernel looks OK.
Boot to the command prompt and log in.
Run dmesg and make a note of the time of the last entry.
Run and without rebooting, get all new messages.
If your system locks up, that won't be easy.
Can you ssh in from another system? _________________ Regards,

Alright, do you need any special flags to display a more specific output?
I'll also can try to ssh into it but I'm not sure, I'll see what I can do. |

Pietrog,
No special flags are required.
Anything at the end oy dmesg will be useful, like Illegal Instruction, SIGSEG ...
dmesg is not preserved across reboots though. _________________ Regards,
