Following an upgrade to Gnome 40, most of the windows on my desktop are experiencing significant graphic damage. This consists of small squares or rectangles of misplaced graphics, transparency or erroneous color. If I scroll the window the graphics damage tends to accumulate, making most of the window unreadable. If I resize the window and it gets redrawn, it generally is repaired. Screenshots appear correct, otherwise I would show some examples of this. My configuration worked fine before this Gnome upgrade, and nothing else has changed. I use X11 as the window system.
lspci of my graphics card is:

The kernel driver is amdgpu with the appropriate firmware compiled into the kernel.

Everything Gnome-related is from the stable tree.
I cannot find anything obvious in dmesg. In journalctl there are several error sets like this:

but not nearly enough to accompany every instance of graphics breakage (which is constant and inevitable). Mozilla Firefox, however, works without graphics damage, if this offers any clues. [EDIT 1: I can make Firefox experience the same graphics breakage by zooming in and out of Google Maps.]
I am blaming this on the Gnome 40 upgrade, but there may be an alternate explanation, as there were other upgrades processed in that emerge @world. I have tried to emerge @world every day for the last week or so, hoping that there would be a fix in the stable tree, but to no avail. There don't seem to be others reporting this either, so it must be something peculiar to my setup. If you have any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate them. If there is any additional information that would provide more insight, I will get it.
