Since Xorg believes that your video card needs the amdgpu driver, and Mesa's radeonsi_dri driver appears in the backtrace, maybe set VIDEO_CARDS="amdgpu radeonsi" instead, as the Wiki suggests, and do an emerge --changed-use @world?

Code:
$ grep VIDEO /etc/portage/make.conf
VIDEO_CARDS="amdgpu radeonsi"

on an rx 550 works fine, though I run wayland nowadays.

Good suggestion I can try it.
But I think it might be a problem that my X run on vt1 instead of vt7

I start xfce4 from .bash_profile
Code:
if [[ -z $DISPLAY ]] && [[ $(tty) = /dev/tty1 ]]; then exec startx; fi

and: .xinitrc
Code:
exec startxfce4

I tried to install "lightDM" but keeps looping, when I try to login it will not start "xfce4" it loops me back to a login screen.
I have in: /etc/env.d/90xsession
Code:
XSESSION=Xfce4

Do I need to add xfce4 somewhere in "lightdm" configuration file?

The 'AIGLX: Suspending AIGLX clients for VT switch' is probably normal at least for the AMD drivers, though it has some very annoying side effects at least on my machine (which I'm not sure are within the normal). Been meaning to file a bug about it somewhere for a while now. This was a good reminder of that.

For example, if I switch from Xorg to a tty, this suspension happens, and leads into some online things getting disconnected and/or "paused" (online games and live streams via mpv etc.), and once I switch back, all the desktop notifications that happened at the time will be displayed at once.

That did not happen when I was still using nvidia-drivers, which are probably doing things regarding this in a lot less safe way, but I got very used to being able to switch to the tty when I go AFK, in part to prevent a certain kitty from taking over (not that that really stops that), and in part for a friend to be able to log in on their account when they visit (I use plain 'startx' without any screen locking, kits, pam, and the likes, which the drivers might be assuming).

I switched to "LightDM" login manager and it starts the X on vt7, I'll keep monitoring it but I hope it will solve the problem with X-freezing.
As I've mentioned when I start X from command line "script" the X run in vt1 and when some programs tries to switch to vt7 the X-freezes.
I don't know how to force X on vt7 from the command line, that is why I'm using login manager. Especially that this is a box in a remote location.

I haven't seen that in a while, it does show up on /var/log/Xorg.0.log from May 2020, but I haven't gotten that message in a while.

The only message I see now is -> AIGLX: Loaded and initialized radeonsi

I probably changed some kernel parm, I know there was one parm complaining that it wasn't set, only the amd gpus used it though. :roll:

As Chiitoo said more an annoyance than anything else.

This is normal behaviour if x11-base/xorg-server was installed with USE="elogind -suid" and you use startx. Display managers on the other hand run as root and spawn Xorg without dropping privileges, so it also runs as root and is able to open any /dev/tty* file it wishes.

It might happen because something is crashing. Xorg is already crashing in certain circumstances, as shown in the log. In your other thread, the "error: unable to open display ":0"" messages also look like symptoms of an Xorg crash.

If I were you, I'd fix the VIDEO_CARDS issue first so that the correct X11 and Mesa drivers are installed. And then see if you still have other problems.

XSESSION does something only if you don't have an .xinitrc file in your home directory. You have one, so XSESSION doesn't matter.
