I look through virtualization and I can't find KVM.
Any help appreciated.

Can you give us more info?
Output of "emerge --info", which kernel version you are trying to configure&compile. Post as well .config to pastebin (or similar service). |

You probably want to search menuconfig for KVM_INTEL or KVM_AMD, depending on your host CPU. That should take you to the area where you can enable it. This is defined in arch/x86/kvm/Kconfig, and appears under the Virtualization parent node. The depend statements look fairly simple, and you probably already satisfy all of them. |
