Hi
Did you deliberately choose ~amd64
?
After chrooting
Code:

emerge --sync
eselect profile.......
source /etc/profile
env-update
emerge -uDNav @world
etc
etc

If you want a testing system you can of course use ~arch
I d prefer to first run once
emerge -uDNav @world
without ~arch
letting the system "settle"
then maybe add ~arch
and rerun.

Better yet, stay out of arch to experience a lot less failure.

hey quick question does my make.conf look normal??because again llvm and gcc failed on my system, i thought it was swap so i made more in a swapfile arch i only had 2 gigs of ram with 9g in a swapfile
i have the log but there's no way pastebin will post 13000 lines and searching error: doesn't help me its in like everywhere

heres what im doing

sudo mount /dev/sdc2 /mnt
cd /mnt
sudo mkdir gentoo
cd gentoo
cp stage3 in gentoo folder
sudo tar xpvf stage3-*.tar.xz --xattrs-include='*.*' --numeric-owner
cp your resolv.conf
cp make.conf
sudo mount --types proc /proc /mnt/gentoo/proc
sudo mount --rbind /sys /mnt/gentoo/sys
sudo mount --make-rslave /mnt/gentoo/sys
sudo mount --rbind /dev /mnt/gentoo/dev
sudo mount --make-rslave /mnt/gentoo/dev
sudo mkdir --parents /mnt/gentoo/etc/portage/repos.conf
sudo cp /mnt/gentoo/usr/share/portage/config/repos.conf /mnt/gentoo/etc/portage/repos.conf/gentoo.conf
cat /mnt/gentoo/etc/portage/repos.conf/gentoo.conf
sudo chroot /mnt/gentoo /bin/bash
emerge-webrsync
eselect news read
eselect profile set 3
eselect locale set 4
locale-gen
echo "Europe/Athens" > /etc/timezone
emerge mirrorselect
mirrorselect -i -o >> /etc/portage/make.conf
env-update && source /etc/profile
emerge --ask --verbose --update --deep --newuse @world

2gis of ram will only support -j1
You need to maybe create a big swap partition
with
Code:

mkswap /dev/sdax
swapon /dev/sdax

Quote:

sudo mount /dev/sdc2 /mnt
cd /mnt
sudo mkdir gentoo
cd gentoo

Try
Code:

mkdir /mnt/gentoo
mount /dev/sdc2 /mnt/gentoo
cd /mnt/gentoo
cp or wget tarball
untar it

We cannot say, because you have not showed it.
pnotz17 wrote:

Based on the output provided, it appears that llvm failed to build.

That should not be the case. There should be very few occurrences of error:, because the build should fail shortly thereafter.

Why are you using sudo here?

If you need help, please follow the instructions that you posted and provide the files we need to see what is wrong.
