[SOLVED]suddenly in a lot of apps i can see only 4 chars.

i'm on gnome 40 now.
after rebooting today i can only write (or see) 4 chars (it is writing more of course but i can't see from the char number 5 and forward).
also, in the GUI itself, in the titlebar, i can see only 4 chars.
also, the 4th char is bold in some apps.
(in firefox, for example it seems to work as before without a problem).
i'm sure i'm not understood so some screenshots for your eyes .
i'm using alacritty terminal.
you can see in the screenshot that in the titlebar it doesn't have the full text ('alacritty'); just the 4 starting chars:

no problem with the text inside the terminal

in emacs (doom emacs) you can see in couple of places just 4 characters.
also in the text itself i can see only the 4 characters and the rest is written but unseen:

you can see that in the title bar there is only *scr and not the full *scratch* text.
in the buttom you can see UTF- and not UTF-8
also you can see Fund and not Fundamental.
just 4 chars.
also you can see in the very buttom the word "When" and the 'n' is bold.
i can't write (and see) more than 4 characters in a line.
it also happening in gedit and libreoffice.
and now in nautilus this is my home directory:

you can see all the directories are just 4 chars and the rest chars (if there are of course) are unseen.
also you can see that the 4th char is bold in every directory name.
you can see Desk directory which should be (and was yesterday) Desktop.
also there is .ema directory which should be .emacs of course.

you can see characters are missed and the 4th's are bold.
in qBittorrent the titlebar is also just 4 chars.

you can see that from the 5th char onward the text is blacked and blurry.
and it is happening across almost all apps (i tried in the last hour - after my reboot) in my computer and i don't know what is going on.
i thought maybe its the gtk upgrade from couple of days ago so i downgrade it and reboot but the problem still exist.

many gui apps have this problem.
i just cant see menus normally because it have just 4 chars.
i checked and this is also happening in audacity, nautilus (also the menus, not just the filenames or folders), htop, gimp, gaupol (subtitles program), the screenshot utility (i used to capture the images here), libreoffice and perhaps more.
it is very annoying and i can't use the computer to do simple tasks.
