Hi

Firefox updated last night to 78.10.0esr (64-bit).

Now whenever I try to play a video on Youtube, the tab immediately crashes.

It also crashed while I was reviewing ads in Adsense Blocking controls, had no idea why but now assume that page has a video ad on it.

I have restarted KDE but that did not help.

Google shows a Windows user having similar problem in 2019, so don't know if that is relevant ... seemed related to his Windows set-up.

Any ideas? Will try re-compiling nvidia-drivers in the mean time ...

Thanks, Ian

Unsure if that's your issue but there was a fix that sound related yesterday: bug #773277 (I suspect you may have built just before the fix)

There was no revbump, so I'd suggest to emerge --sync and emerge -1 firefox

Thanks, that looks like the problem because Rust also updated.

Will take a while to rebuild. I synched last night but guess changes had not propagated yet.

Thanks, Ian
