[SOLVED] doom emacs icons not showing

Hi,

Hope this is the correct section to post in.

I basically have installed doom emacs and all is fine, except for the icons on the dashboard.

Just wondering if anyone else had a similar issue. I raised a bug report with the author and he pointed me to the faq to install the fonts, which I have done.

I am hoping someone has gotten it to work or knows where I might be going wrong.

edit: I hope this is the right thing to do, but I have just sorted this problem out. It looks like I needed the xft USE flag. Emjoi's are showing now, thanks and apologies if this is not the right thing to do.
