Posted: Wed Mar 24, 2021 5:59 am Post subject: kernel module netatop not active

if i start atop with parameter -n, or press key 'n' in atop, i will see message "kernel module netatop not active". sudo modprobe netatop says that netatop module not found. so, which package contains this module? shall i download the source code from https://www.atoptool.nl/downloadnetatop.php and run make & make install

None, at least as far as the official gentoo portage tree is concerned.

If you like. Alternatively it looks like there are ebuilds for it available in a couple of overlays, though I haven't tried them myself.
