|
|
Hey I'm very new to linux and just wanted to install the icecat browser via tar.
After unzipping the File I've tried to run the icecat-bin with the ./icecat-bin command. But it fails multiple times, despite reinstalling it.
The message I'm recieving:
XPCOMGlueLoad error for file /root/icecat/libmozgtk.so:
libgtk-3.so.0: cannot open shared objekt file: No such file or directory
Couldn't load XPCOM
Could somebody please tell me what I'm missing?
EDIT: Just installed the requested package: x11-libs/gtk+

Did it just as you said, installed it in the ~ $ directory of my normal user (I guess its the home directory?).
I'm still recieving the same error message.
Any other ideas?
I'im unpacking it with the tar -xf [FILENAME] command, maybe something is wrong with that? |
