Masked by keywords means that there is no a stable version so you should use /etc/portage/package.accept_keywords for unmask it _________________ Questions are guaranteed in life; Answers aren't. |

Next time you can use --autounmask y option , this add to package.accept_keywords all needed packages to unmask the you should use etc-update command for to make the changes effective _________________ Questions are guaranteed in life; Answers aren't. |

I will keep that in mind later. By the way, gentoo wiki says for me to do this: Another popular choice is x11-terms/kitty which works natively with Wayland if the KITTY_ENABLE_WAYLAND environment variable is set to 1. Which file do i have to edit in order to set this? |

If you use a login manager use ~/.xprofile, if you use startx use ~/.xinitrc _________________ Questions are guaranteed in life; Answers aren't. |
