Every time I boot up or shut down, my screen has tons of the following command all over it:

Code:
/sbin/runscript.sh: 2:: command not found

/sbin/runscript.sh is there, and works (b/c there are alot of things that use it that when it starts up... and everything works when my computer starts up or shuts down):

Code:
-rwxr-xr-x    1 root     root        12942 Jul  3 04:51 /sbin/runscript.sh

wtf is this, and why does it keep saying it can't find it when it is USING IT, and it's there where it says it can't find it? Please note that it is using it, b/c my system is starting up normal, minus all the command not found things from above.

It's not runscript.sh that's not being found. It's "2:", which is not being found when running runscript.sh.

Code:

rac@emma$ grep '2:' /etc/rc.conf
# 2:    IPv4

You wouldn't have uncommented this line, which is part of a list of possible values for the PROTOCOLS assignment which occurs after it, would you?

Thanks

can this not be made clearer in the install docs then. I installed this 3 times from stage 1 (just couldnt get it right :cry:) and this is the first time i have got it right 8)

In all times i uncommented this line, going by the internal documentation and hints etc.
