|
|
I get
Code: | <snip>
picmip: 1
texture bits: 0
multitexture: enabled
compiled vertex arrays: enabled
texenv add: enabled
compressed textures: disabled
Initializing Shaders
^3WARNING: no shader files found
Received signal 11, exiting... |
grsec reports:
Code: | grsec: signal 11 sent to (quake3.x86:24538) UID(1000) EUID(1000), parent (quake
3:18644) UID(1000) EUID(1000)
grsec: more signal warnings, logging disabled for 30 seconds |
Which AFAIK doesn't mean it is grsec which is killing the app (as in some wine problems I've read about).
Can anyone help. I am using gcc2 on an AthlonXP 2100+ and a GeForce2 with the nvidia drivers fully installed. glxgears runs fine and so does tuxracer... _________________ Cheers, MP |

Yeah and in Gentoo all you have to do is:
and follow the instructions.
Great, isn't it?
Although I think mdpye is running Q3 natively already (not using winex).
But reinstalling Q3 would perhaps fix the problem. |

Have you tried the way that worked for me, install the linux demo and then copy over your pk3 file? Then you are good to go _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world, those who understand binary, and those who don't.

Oops, sorry. Forgot to come back. I fixed it by buying the full game. I should have mentioned I was using the pak0 from the demo! (smacks forehead!) _________________ Cheers, MP |
