i recently remerged glibc (2.2.5-r6) and (i think) some of the java stuff started to freeze my desktop. i'm wondering if it's my glibc upgrade. i use blackdown-jre 1.3.1-r7.
is it possible to go back to glibc 2.2.5-r6 by unmerging and remerging? what are the steps i need to follow?

DO NOT UNMERGE GLIBC!!!

Just do:
Code:
# emerge /usr/portage/sys-libs/glibc/glibc-2.2.5-r5.ebuild
