Well, it looks like running a campaign based on eliminating the bill of rights just didn't work out for little Robert Francis O'Rourke.

O’Rourke drops out of 2020 presidential race

Good!

Something similar I hear in yesterdays grilling of the Being CEO from a Congressman (who is not an MP), who said: "I would go by train but not take a seat in your Max"
Have you seen the photographes from the large fields were all the newly built Boeing 737 Max have their parking lots?
Scary .... reminds me of the big cities in China where there is no human being.

So, all of it plays down to the FAA must not be outsourced private business. Socialism prevents catastrophes. And regulations are claimed a requirement for true market competition in other sectors too. (Zuckerberg asks for data security regulations like in Europe)

Let me add that holders of massive companies like regulations because they have the funding and ability to work through them but new competition does not. So when Zuck goes to Washington to advocate for regulations that he already intends to abide by, he uses congressional authority to stifle his competition. Large businesses and congressmen collaborating benefits both parties at the expense of the small entrepreneurial class. This is what is meant by crony capitalism and it is why our career congressmen are more like parasites than men. I think Muso and I would both say that this current arrangement is not what the original framers of the constitution would have intended.

Also they didn't know the biology of their own bodies depending on more parasite creatures than they have cells.
They intended a democracy with an electorate of a vast majority having land in their own possession to be independent citizens. (This was the main drive over a hundred years to go further west and to save the democracy with new land owners.) They didn't intend to have a central bank almighty until the immigrant german guys asked to be paid in Thaler (Dollar) for their work. But some of the framers expected a crony capitalism to come up when allowing corporation.
In Germany we have MPs getting paid by the state their campaigns. They created regulations to instantiate a middle class, which consists of thousands of little manufacturers - often world leaders in their niches - with 20 to 2000 workers. These wouldn't survive if big money would sponsor campaigns of politicians. In the Republican Party this is called the socialism in Germany, but we call it "Ordo Capitalism" (*), which was developed by conservative science of the economics to give the little ones an opportunity in a strongly regulated market sphere. These little firms have their clubs in every major city so they can organize their lawyers together. Therefore MPs are not seen as parasites but enablers of local economies.

(*)PS: It is called "Ordo Liberalismus" - but Liberal is a right wing capitalism ideology in Europe! In America the word "liberal" has changed because of the New Deal after the 1929 crash, which was used to save capitalism against marxism. So in Europe the Liberal Party in Germany and the LibDems in the UK are right wing pro capitalism parties.

Mutualism != Parasitism. Symbiotic relationships are not all created equally. I assume you mean the gut bacteria that we depend on. That's not a parasitic relationship.

You should also think of the US as kind of like the EU and the states as member states. That's a more apt comparison than comparing USA to Germany. Instead you should compare Michigan or Michigan, Ohio and Indiana to Germany. That's a better comparison and regarding what your MPs do in Germany that's more like what our state representatives do for us, when they are doing their jobs.

America has many layers of government.

Also, I say compare Michigan Ohio and Indiana to Germany because the economies are similarly industrially based. Compare California to France in some ways, like high end agriculture, obnoxious progressivism and look for California to start pushing refugees around like France does once their sanctuary cities don't pan out well.

She would be Trump's worst nightmare. Fortunately for Trump, the Democrat leadership has become so batshit crazy as well as corrupt, that there is little chance Ms. Gabbard would ever get the nomination.

So much this

The democrats have no idea how valuable an honest veteran can be. John Kerry is a veteran, but he's a grifting, dishonest POS. His purple hearts are fake, and he wrote his own requests for them (one being for the rice grains in his own backside planted there by his own grenade).

Tulsi could win, but the democrat party is too insane to understand this.

Tulsi means basil in hindi. I thought it was a coincidence until i read her bio. the tulsi really comes from that.

I don't know much about her, but she seems the most reasonable of the dems.

She is. She's a legitimate patriot and doesn't play the SJW games. She doesn't consider republicans to be 'deplorables' and treats people rather respectfully. She's way to the left of me on domestic policy, but I have total respect for her as a person, a major, and a representative.

Yeah I can get behind that.

She would absolutely crush in Michigan, for sure. UAW is just off the heels of a massive strike. Ford and Chrysler are up soon for renegotiation. We have new battery manufacturing plants: most definitely Obama legacy items. (Like power grid batteries.) Economy is picking up and Unions are on the minds of many.

I'll vote for her in the primaries if she is still in it by Michigan and if she wins the primary, I'll vote for her in the general. I'll vote Trump against all other comers. It's about time we had a Blue Dog and not a wingbat.

I can't vote in the primaries here. I'd have to join the democrat or republican party to do so, and I don't join cults. If Hawaii had an open primary system, I'd definitely vote for Tulsi.

Finally a reason that Michigan is better than Hawaii. We are a purple state with an open primary. :P
