portage update removed sys-fs/eudev and installed sys-fs/udev.
no systemd here.
Just sure what the implication may be... fear to reboot though. | Code: | emerge eudev
These are the packages that would be merged, in reverse order:

Add udev to package.mask and remove it with emerge -C
Then emerge -1 eudev. The next update should be okay. |

Although I'm unsure what a reboot without eudev would have caused,
can't stop thinking such situation kinda suck.
