xfce 4.14 still depends on deprecated gtk-engines-xfce

The new xfce4-meta-4.14 ebuild has dependency on gtk-engines-xfce which is deprecated by upstream. This package is giving some old themes which are not working with new xfce 4.14 desktop.Is it necessary anymore or Am i missing something?

Seems you are right looking xfce-4.14 changelog.
You can try to remove package and add it in package.provided, if all works open a new bug
